The AlNik Solution Mission:

AlNik Solutions, LLC is a small business, with a focus of equally providing “value priced” good project management related software, and to “support” the current needs of the smaller and middle sized businesses.

AlNik Solutions was founded based on many experiences of Program Manager Associates, observing that intelligent earned value project management (EVM) and Workload & Workforce Forecasting requirements for business is, as with many other professional fields, inherently a complex prospect. AlNik PMPlan Stand Alone EVM-Lite products address, from the first idea for a project plan, providing all associated capabilities, up to the close-out and delivery of all project results required of a quality Project Management System.

Customers and businesses who are not fully versed on, and vested into the Value-Added EVM Techniques, along with the associated Workforce & Workload, Planning, Pricing, Project Management, and EVM Analysis & Reporting Requirements, are the most likely to require quality tools to address this paradigm. They should be addressing this paradigm with vendors having reliable EVM developed application software, service, and support; and should consider all to be available at a reasonable and affordable price. EVM is the preferred performance measurement technique of most government agencies, while it is also equally as reliable and valuable for most commercial customer requirements. AlNik’s EVM-Lite techniques are the most cost-effective, when properly directed and applied, over other types of performance measurement techniques, as they can quickly measure the potential success or failure of planned projects.

Customers, developing the Workload to support its forecasted Workforce profitability would need to, just as they would with any other type of professional service provider, fundamentally considered as Trusted Allies, professional service providers in the arena of Workload & Workforce Planning tools, along with the principals of EVM performance measurement. These service providers should also be supplying the appropriately integrated software tools and service support for such integrated processes.

AlNik Solutions, as such, makes every attempt to serve its customers as Trusted Allies providing them with the necessary tools that contain specifically crafted inputs and outputs that meet customer unique requirements and objectives, while incorporating the loyalty of a dedicated business partner along with the economics of an outside vendor, which results in gaining Workforce billable time.

AlNik Solutions strives to ensure that all of it’s customers have their selected applications developed to meet government standards, but to also be applicable to lesser commercial requirements that are required to effectively plan and manage their projects, and forecast their resources as well as possible given the maximum of efficiency and reliability. AlNik Solutions product applications are Mission Critical, so we provide our customers with assurance that we will be there when needed.

We have found through discussions with our customer contacts, that how each organization, or sub-group within an organization, proceeds to obtain the required results from their Enterprise processes, are far from being standardized and are all over the map. This is not to say that the ANSI criteria cannot be achieved, but that the processes for developing and pricing a plan and obtaining or developing data to obtain the results of the plan, as directed by the criteria, is quite often unique to that organization or group. The challenge for us then is the process of integrating a PMPlan product into each customer’s organizational Enterprise requirements, and providing custom support for their unique requirements. This is why good ongoing customer relationships, teamwork and customer feedback is critical to AlNik Solutions.

AlNik Solutions relies heavily on user feedback to keep the PMPlan Products up-to-date, and provides insight to the users organizational processes and procedures where they impact project and Line management processes and procedures. While with the PMPlan products, and in particular PMPlan Pro, we make every effort to adhere to most principals of the ANSI/EIA-748 standard for earned value management (EVM-Lite), this standard does not dictate how an organization should implement the standard as it is applied to its processes and procedures, but it does dictate what the results of an organizations Enterprise processes and procedures must achieve.

For specific business needs in the process’ of proposal Workload planning and pricing; project execution and tracking; portfolio performance analysis; and Workforce management; the PM software should include the ability to gather, compile, analyze, and distribute all integrated project related data and information. AlNik Solutions strengths in these fields will be most beneficial to those customers.
